The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Budapest participated in the World Children's Day, which takes place annually at the end of the last week of May in Budapest under the auspices of the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, where a Qatari tent was erected in the framework of this participation.

 The Qatari tent was visited by a large number of children accompanied by their families. Gifts were distributed and food was served to them. Various competitions were also held and pamphlets and leaflets about the State of Qatar were distributed.

 His Excellency Mr. Laszlo Kövér, Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, visited the Qatari tent and praised the annual participation on this occasion by the Embassy of the State of Qatar.

 This event is a great social and cultural event attended by tens of thousands of children and their families to learn about participating countries. The embassies accredited to Hungary, as well as associations for children, charitable organizations, banks and others are also present.
