On the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar and in commemoration of the assumption of power by the late Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Al-Thani in 1878, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Hungary, Ambassador Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, held a reception at the Marriott Hotel in Budapest On 12/12/2017.

 The Deputy Minister of State at the Prime Minister's Office, the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, senior officials, directors and deans of some Hungarian universities and chief executives of banks and financial institutions attended the ceremony.

 The ceremony was also attended by political, economic, cultural, intellectual, scientific and media figures in Hungary, as well as members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited and members of the Arab and Islamic community living in Hungary.

 The guests expressed their wishes and greetings to the Government and people of Qatar on this occasion, pointing out to the role played by the State of Qatar at the Arab, regional and international levels under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir. "
