In its issue No. 60 of January 2019, the Hungarian Kék Duna (Blue Danube) published a study on Hungarian-Qatari relations and cultural and economic activities in the State of Qatar. The magazine pointed to the emergence of the State of Qatar globally, and the development of its international relations based on cooperation and the dedication of the values of peace.
The magazine quoted the ambassador of the State of Qatar in Hungary, Mohammed Al Khalifa, that the organization of the State of Qatar for the World Cup 2022 is evidence of Qatar's prosperity, growth and confidence in others. The Ambassador stressed the tremendous efforts exerted by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, to modernize the country and move it a qualitative leap to an advanced level witnessed by the near and far.
The magazine has devoted a special focus on cultural activities in Qatar. Kék Duna pointed out the most important stations such as the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Education City, Qatar National Library, Museum of Islamic Art, Sheikh Faisal bin Qasim Al Thani’s Museum, etc.
The magazine also published a dialogue with the Qatari Minister of Culture and Sports on the sidelines of the Doha International Book Fair at its 29th session, and an interview with the Director General of the cultural district of Katara. Blue Danube stressed that these activities bear a cultural aspect of artistic and aesthetic expressions that combine the cultural heritage and the present radiant on a bright future.
