The Ambassador meets the Head of the Protocol Department

On the evening of 8/8/2018 at his residency, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar held a farewell ceremony in honor of Her Excellency Mrs. Marie Antoinette Sedin, Ambassador of the State of Palestine and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps on the occasion of the end of her work in Hungary.

HE Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Hungary met today (12 July 2018) with HE Mr. Laszlo Varadi, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, in the latter’s office at the Ministry. The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to matters of common concern

His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Hungary, delivered a letter from HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to His Excellency Mr. János Áder, President of the Republic of Hungary. The letter is a reply to a letter received by His Highness from the Hungarian President, which is related to the promotion of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

In the framework of the annual meetings for political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and Hungary, HE Mr. Szilveszter Bus, Assistant Secretary of State for Openness to the South at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, paid an official visit to Doha, where he met with HE Dr. Ahmed Bin Hassan Al- Hamadi, Secretry General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

HE Ambassador Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa meet 12 March 2018 with HE Mr. Istvan Manno, Head of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, in his office at the ministry.

HE Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in the reception held by HE Mr. István Tarlos, Lord Mayor of Budapest, on the occasion of the New Year 2018, in honor of ambassadors and heads of accredited diplomatic missions in Hungary.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar participated in the reception held by His Excellency Mr. János Ader, President of the Republic of Hungary, on the occasion of the New Year in honor of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to his country.

The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing and developing them in various fields and issues of common concern.
